Compare a small shortlist
Up to three matching tradies can send private quotes. Pass on one to open a spot for another.
Choose your tradie
Agree on scope, timing and payment directly. FairTradies takes no commission.
No runaround here, either.
What does it cost?
Homeowners post for free. The proposed business listing plan is $25 AUD a month, with quoting and messages included. There are no per-lead fees or commissions. Billing is not connected in this early version, so no payment or subscription starts when you create a listing.
Why only three quotes?
Three active quotes keep your shortlist manageable. Matching tradies fill the available spots when they submit. You can pass on a pending quote to open a spot, or choose a tradie to stop further quotes.
Are tradies verified?
Business profiles are self-reported. FairTradies does not currently verify licences, insurance or qualifications. Ask for the credentials relevant to your job before engaging someone.
How do payments work?
You agree on the scope, total price and payment terms directly with your tradie. FairTradies does not collect or hold payment for the work. Choosing a quote here records your selection and keeps your conversation together.
